Welcome to the WW2010 Current Weather Products Section. The first stage of development includes a product list of analysis and observation plots.

Each weather product is linked to explanatory helper sections that are useful not only for interpreting the images, but also for understanding important topics in meteorology. Just click on the question marks for this assistance.


Current Weather Surface Weather
Contains current surface weather information such as temperature maps, station observations, and specialized analysis pair images, as well as daily charts like precipitation and max/min temperatures.


Satellite Weather
Contains our always popular satellite database, allowing for all different viewing options and imaging channels.


Radar Weather (UIUC Campus only)
Contains local, regional, and national doppler radar images including reflectivity, velocity, and storm total precipitation.


Upper Air Weather
Upper Air products are currently in production.


Forecast Weather
Forecast model output products are currently in production.

Contains a few pages to help you learn about our current weather products.

The navigation menu (left) for this module is called "Current Weather". Click on the menu item of interest to go to that particular section. In addition, this entire web server is available in both a "graphics" and "text"-based mode and these options are accessible from the blue User Interface menu (left beneath the black navigation menus). More details about the navigation system, the user interface options or the WW2010 web server are available from About This Server.
