WW2010 is a web-based framework for presenting a large collection of real time
and archived weather products, case studies plus an extensive data base of
multimedia instructional resources and classroom activities.

This section highlights the primary components that make up WW2010's
extensive content database. These components include: weather products,
helper sections and online guides and details about these components
has been given below.
IR Satellite with Pressure
WW2010 will automatically generate roughly 3600 unique current and
forecast weather maps every 24 hours. Included are the standard surface,
radar, upper air and satellite observational products, plus forecast model
products. Unique new products include: nine-panel surface images, isentropic
maps and forecast model comparison panels.
Each and every product has a corresponding helper page that not only introduces
each product, but also describes the fields displayed on the map and how to
interpret them. Concept helper pages provide brief yet informative
explanations about important topics in atmospheric and other related

Included in this framework are the "Online Guides"
featuring our ever-growing collection of multimedia instructional modules.
These modules cover a variety of topics such as forces, fronts, hurricanes and
El Niño. Each module can be traversed individually
or used as a
reference for learning more about topics introduced in the "helper sections".
Where appropriate, there are links to corresponding real-time and archived
data, plus relevant online curriculum and activities for K-12 instruction.
