To view a specific hurricane, select a year from the menu at the top left of the browser. A list of names of tropical cyclones from that year will appear in a menu to the right. Choose the name of the cyclone to view the track. There is also a special list of history's more popular and damaging hurricanes seen from the year selection menu.

Once the track is displayed, you can control the track by using the controls found at the bottom of the map. Data concening the storm for each time interval can be found at the top and bottom of the screen. Some hurricanes may not be available because their tracks do not lie within the map shown.

To return to this screen, click the 'reset' link.
